Things to do when the power goes off

Lay out in the sun. It’s hotter inside, why stay in? If it’s raining, you could always lay under a umbrella. You’ll probably look stupid but at least you’re cool — and it gives you something to do.

Read a book. If you have candles, that’s great. If not, you can always make up the story as you go — unless you read it a million times.

Play games. Truth or dare, board games, cards, or hide and go seek — if you’re hiding you’ll most likely win.

Run your mouth. Talk/complain about anything to your friends or family. They are likely to listen — it’s not like they can block you out by watching television or playing games on the internet.
